GROTH Design Group is a proud participant in the NAIOP Accelerate Commercial Real Estate Internship Program, with a mission of attracting more diversity to the commercial real estate industry and focusing on job readiness training. An additional goal is to expose students to different career paths and interests while they are still in high school so they have the tools to begin determining what path they might want to take for their future. The program is a paid high school internship program that runs June through August and offers interns three days per week, for a total of 10-15 hours of work experience.
In addition to gaining valuable life experiences through interviewing, working, and socializing; interns are exposed to multiple different facets of commercial real estate including brokerage, property management, construction, development, banking, architecture, engineering, building maintenance, marketing, research, and analytics.
GROTH Design Group is happy to have welcomed Gabriella Naldo (Gabbee) from Carmen High School as an intern. Our team is focused on providing hands-on experience in the architecture industry. Our outlined program will expose her to multiple market sectors including education, religious, corporate, hospitality, healthcare, senior living, and community by providing a dedicated week to each market with direct interaction with the market sector leaders.
The interns also have the opportunity to collaborate with other high school interns and to be mentored by college interns, NAIOP Developing Leaders, ACRE students/grads, and other industry professionals. We are thrilled to be a part of this fantastic program and hope all the interns within the program excel.
